National Simultaneous Storytime


The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) plays host to National Simultaneous Storytime each year in May.
Albion Primary School students and families have been taking part in this event annually since 2013, sharing the selected story and completing a range of activities. It is always a terrific morning filled with lots of fun!

The book chosen for 2023 was The Speedy Sloth by Rebecca Young & illustrated by Heath McKenzie.

On Wednesday the 24th May, families were invited to visit their children's classrooms and enjoy the book along

with more than two million people around Australia.
