Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR)

All schools must implement Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program.

The RRRR learning materials have been designed for teachers in primary and secondary schools to develop students’ social, emotional and positive relationship skills.

Efforts to promote social and emotional skills and positive gender norms in children and young people has been shown to improve health related outcomes and subjective wellbeing. It also reduces antisocial behaviours including engagement in gender-related violence.

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning materials cover eight topics of Social and Emotional Learning across all levels of primary and secondary education: Emotional Literacy; Personal Strengths; Positive Coping; Problem Solving; Stress Management; Help Seeking; Gender and Identity; and Positive Gender Relationships. The learning materials are all age appropriate.

A scope and sequence has been developed by Albion staff.

The work we do at Albion with our students in terms of the school values, RRRR and general wellbeing is one of the reasons why we have such a calm, respectful school, why support staff who come into the school speak so highly of Albion Primary School, why new students tend to settle well and casual relief staff love working here.
