2022 World Teachers Day

World Teachers’ Day is held internationally annually on 5th October. As it falls during the school holidays in many parts of Australia, we celebrate a little later.

Victoria celebrates World Teachers' Day on the last Friday in October (this year 28th).

World Teachers' Day is a chance to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions teachers have made in Victorian communities.

This year, Victorian teachers have continued to show their resilience and adaptability throughout illnesses, changes in staffing, lack of relief staffing and the uncertainty of life in general.

World Teachers' Day 2022 is an opportunity to celebrate the teachers who are making, or have made, an impact on our lives.

World Teachers’ Day is a chance to say, ‘thank you’.
