Some of the results are as follows:
Year 3
Percentage of students demonstrating exceeding or strong proficiency level is greater than similar and network schools in all domains - reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation and numeracy.(State information is not available at this stage.)
Year 5
Percentage of students demonstrating exceeding or strong proficiency level is greater than similar and network schools in all domains - reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation and numeracy.(State information is not available at this stage.)
Due to the change in reporting, growth from year 3 in 2021 to year 5 this year is not able to be reported on.
Please remember that the NAPLAN results are only a snapshot of student assessment. They are not the 'be all and end all' of what students are capable of.
Of course education is important - that is why we are all here - and schools are measured on NAPLAN results. However, at Albion, our focus is on the whole child, not just their test scores and we hope it always remains that way!
