Every year the children at Albion Primary School take part in the Premier's Reading Challenge.
The Challenge encourages students to read a targetted number of books, enter their books online and review and rate them.Students can also enter books that have been read to them.Every child in the school receives a personalised username and passcode. They then use these to access the Premier's Reading Challenge website:VPRC loginOver the last sixteen years, and even throughout remote learning during 2020 and 2021, every child at Albion successfully completed the Challenge.
In 2023 a total of 7170 books were read. That was almost 200 more than were read in 2022. It was great to see our reading appetite grow.
Many thanks to all of the teachers, parents and of course the children for this wonderful effort.
