JSC Fund Raising

The Junior School Council are organising a couple of fund raisers.

The first one is for Exford Primary School after the terrible bus crash that injured many children who were on their way home from school. The school will need to provide human and physical resources to support their students and families.

We are selling ice-cream in cones for $1 per ice-cream. Sales will be held on most of the remaining days at school. If you would like your child to have an ice-cream, please send some money to school with them. The flavours vary from rainbow to cookies and cream. We are only allowing one ice-cream per child per day. The ice-cream and cones have all been donated. All funds raised will be passed on to Exford Primary School. Many thanks to the parents and staff for giving up their time to help out.

The second fund raising event is to support State Schools' Relief (SSR). SSR is not-for-profit organisation that improves the lives of tens of thousands of disadvantaged Victorian students, and their families, each year. SSR provides government school students with new uniforms, footwear and educational resources, including learning devices. Albion Primary School utilises the services of State Schools’ Relief a lot throughout the year. All money raised will go to State Schools’ Relief to assist with the great things the organisation does for students in government schools.

JSC will be holding a ‘Movie and Popcorn Day’, for a gold coin donation. Students can wear casual clothes to school with appropriate footwear and and to suit the weather. Junior School Council will be organising a ‘Cinema’ in The Village (BER Building) and popcorn will be distributed. Students will get to watch previous Albion Primary School Productions for example, Camp Granada. If you do not want your child to participate in this, please inform their classroom teacher.
