We were thrilled to have Lachie Gill attend our school today.

Lachie used to be a part time Physical Education teacher, but music was his passion and started pulling him in another direction. He has played music since he was a young child but got real encouragement from his year 10 music teacher.

In 2022, Lachie decided to audition for The Voice Australia. He ended up winning the series last year.

Lachie played a couple of songs for us and then joined our music teacher, Ash, to play some songs that the students sang for Lachie. Lachie then participated in a combined music class for 2/3A, 3/4A and 3/4B.

Many thanks to the Australian Children's Music Foundation for bringing Lachie to us today. He had a great time and everyone made him feel very welcome. It was a wonderful experience for our students.
