10c Container Deposit Scheme

We received $38.90 for term one from the collection of items from our bins in our school yard and from teachers who donated their 10c containers.

We purchased 2000 brown paper bags $36 for students to place their snacks in to take outside. These bags can go into the compost with any food scraps.

Families are welcome to deposit their items in the 10c bin at the recycle station behind the library or in the yard bins or at a deposit container scheme venue - mention Albion Primary School if you want to donate to the school.

The picture below shows the school's containers going into the sorting machine at the collection centre in Williamstown.
