Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds.
It is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
We will be celebrating on Wednesday 19th March and encourage students to wear traditional cultural clothes to recognise and celebrate the school's cultural diversity. If you do not have traditional dress, you can wear
orange, which is the official colour for Harmony Day. (Suitable footwear for school and school hat must be worn.) Otherwise, school uniform as usual.
At Albion, our shared values of respect, care and honesty go beyond the different cultures and helps make Albion Primary School such a great place to be.
We will be walking in harmony around the basketball court in the morning at approximately 9:10am as a school community. Parents are most welcome to join us in the harmony walk. There will be some performances after the parade.
Students will be participating in some special activities during this week.
